Charles, thank you for sharing the book of memories about these two women. I did not know them, but was so sad when it happened…(especially to hear that drunk driving was the cause). my neighbor at the time, who seldom had any friendly words for me, who I seldom saw because I avoided him (I wonder why?), made a point that evening this happened to get my attention and asked “did you know them?” not saying who he meant…i knew who he meant. he had seen me toting my cello in and out of cars over the years. I have learned more about their lives, and the lives of free lancers I know now. thank you for refreshing our memories of them.
So many orchestras rely on musicians who drive great distances for jobs. Its important to remember the great sacrifices these musicians make. Thank you for remembering these two musicians.
