And it’s a crying shame – I know that there are some phenomenal young violinists out there – and they will continue to grow and evolve as all great artists do – but I miss the elder statesmen of music that were my idols growing up. One of my more recent ‘discoveries’ is Aaron Rosand. What a sound! And he can play anything. And he’s one of the great teachers of our time.
