coffee from the inside

Today I took a trip to my good friend Justin Kagan’s coffee roasterie off Johnson Creek Blvd in SE Portland, where both he and business partner Andrea Spella roast their exquisite lots of super premium coffees.  It was such a great experience – sensory overload was always a possibility – and it was great to see the process of taking coffee from the raw, green beans to the finished product that many of us the the Pacific Northwest cannot do without.
