summer has arrived

Today I’ve been a total lazy sack, as it’s the first day of the first run of warm weather here in Oregon.  Hot, might in fact be the better descriptor, as the highs will climb from today’s low 80’s to the mid to upper 90’s as the week goes on.  Curiously, the weather will be a few degrees cooler down south in Eugene where I’ll be rehearsing Mendelssohn’s Elijah with the Oregon Bach Festival.
