We had a line of severe thunderstorms roll through just after 4:00 p.m. today, and it was truly remarkable for this sort of severity in our area! As I was driving Heather to CMC on the eastside, there was a huge pall of dust that had been blown up before the line of storms, and there were reports of winds as high as 70 mph in places. Not our usual late spring weather pattern by a long shot!

I was driving from Sellwood to Hollywood around 5pm and saw lots of large broken branches lying in the road. Crazy weather!
