Monday marks the beginning of the rehearsal period for our next Classical concert, November 21-23.  Conducted by Resident conductor Gregory Vajda, this program will feature a pretty diverse group of compositions.

Ever heard of a play which feature an oboist as its main character? Now you have – Portland Center Stage is presenting (on their studio stage) A Feminine Ending now through March 23, 2008.

what do you play?

When I got to work last night, I was immediately accosted by our Assistant principal oboist, Karen Wagner, who was all excited about the Super Bowl. I asked if she was a Giants fan. No – did you see that commercial with the NFL player who is also an oboist????!!!!
