Monday marks the beginning of the rehearsal period for our next Classical concert, November 21-23.  Conducted by Resident conductor Gregory Vajda, this program will feature a pretty diverse group of compositions.

there are days…

I wish that I were blogging anonymously sometimes.  I could unburden myself of whatever was vexing me from a day’s worth of rehearsals, private practicing, or teaching, and say whatever I wanted.
That would be great.
But…

a terrible loss

I encountered Jerome on a tour with the Super World Orchestra in 2000. He was an amazing horn player – I’ll remember his solos from Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story for a long time.
