This lovely planter was a gift from our dear friend Anna Schaum who retired from the orchestra at the end of the 2005-2006 season to pursue a private counselling practice. There were a variety of plants growing in it when she gave it to us, and we thought they’d all died over the winter. But, as nature has a habit of doing, we were fooled, and there were some lovely new plants sprouting this spring – here we are treated to some lovely foliage – what a nice surprise!
