This week&#8217;s program of works by Mozart and Richard Strauss is one of my favorite of this season, and so I want to share some of my favorite recordings of the week&#8217;s program with you.<\/p>\n<p>A short and sweet list of my favorites, with links to purchase at arkivemusic.com (for physical cd&#8217;s), and at amazon.com (for mp3&#8217;s).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strauss: Four Last Songs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8176\" alt=\"strauss-lott\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nobleviola.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/strauss-lott.jpeg?resize=170%2C170\" width=\"170\" height=\"170\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Felicity Lott, soprano; Neeme J\u00e4rvi conducting the Scottish National Orchestra (Chandos 10075).<\/p>\n<p>The recording that started it all for me. This particular album includes most of the other songs for soprano and orchestra in\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 13px;\">addition to the Four Last Songs.
