My stand partner, principal viola Jo\u00c3\u00abl Belgique, discovered what the encore was from last night – it was a piece called Odeon<\/em><\/a>, by the composer Ernesto<\/a> Nazareth<\/a>, who he described as the “Scott Joplin of Latin America”.
