Huw has been a nearly constant presence in Portland since his days as music director of the Portland Youth Philharmonic, and he will be missed. Also, former Oregon Symphony exec. Scott Freck will be returning to the Northwest from North Carolina to take over the helm of the Eugene Symphony effective June 11, 2012.
