I just posted about Jun Iwasaki’s return to play guest concertmaster for our last concert of the season on May 20\/21. I also finished my last set of program notes for the season, which just happen to be for these very concerts. I must say, after immersing myself in the music featured on this program, that this may be one of the strongest concerts we’ve ever done since the Music for a Time of War program we brought to Carnegie last spring.
