In last week’s 2004 piece Phenomenon<\/em>, there were some challenges that are not often faced in the course of the average symphony concert.\u00a0 After the initial outburst, there is a eerie section of glissando trills that are very high in each stringed instrument’s register.\u00a0 Some resourceful members of the string sections found ways to make finding the initial top notes a bit simpler – gaffer’s tape.\u00a0 A photo is worth a thousand words:<\/p>\n
