There were a variety of plants growing in it when she gave it to us, and we thought they&#8217;d all died over the winter.  But, as nature has a habit of doing, we were fooled, and there were some lovely new plants sprouting this spring &#8211; here we are treated to some lovely foliage &#8211; what a nice surprise!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>planter 1, originally uploaded by nobleviola.
