This afternoon we had an Oregon Symphony ‘family meeting’.\u00a0 All the members of the orchestra and staff, along with our board president met to get a report on how the symphony is doing, and what the plan of attack was to be for the coming years.\u00a0 It was a good meeting.\u00a0 There were some sobering statistics, but also some very heartening ones as well.\u00a0 We’re in very good hands with our fantastic staff, committed board, and able management leadership.\u00a0 I’d love to share more, but the Oregonian will likely have full coverage later in the week, and I don’t want to get in the way of their excellent reporting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
