{"id":21209,"date":"2021-04-01T16:07:41","date_gmt":"2021-04-01T23:07:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nobleviola.com\/wordpress\/?p=21209"},"modified":"2021-04-01T16:07:45","modified_gmt":"2021-04-01T23:07:45","slug":"viola-for-holy-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nobleviola.com\/wordpress\/2021\/04\/01\/viola-for-holy-week\/","title":{"rendered":"viola for holy week"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last spring, the Oregon Symphony presented a series of video productions that were a brainchild of the OSO&#8217;s Creative Chair Gabriel Kahane and director Holcombe Waller. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My contribution was Nico Muhly&#8217;s <em>Keep in Touch<\/em>, for viola and electronics. It&#8217;s apt that that video is being re-run this week &#8211; Holy Week &#8211; as Nico writes the following in his program notes for the piece:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The complete title of this work is <em>Keep in Touch (Three Missed Calls for Holy Week)<\/em>.
