KBPS-FM 89.9 in Portland is holding their spring fund drive, and they are aiming to raise $400,000.\u00c2\u00a0 The drive will last as long (or as short) as it takes to get to their goal.\u00c2\u00a0 We’re so lucky to have such a great station here in our modestly-sized city, and they cannot exist without our support.<\/p>\n

I had a great hour with Robert McBride as we talked about life in the orchestra and my blogging exploits.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m in awe of the professional broadcasters’ ability to think on their feet and keep many balls in the air, all while talking with clear diction and keeping on topic and with no verbal pauses.\u00c2\u00a0 Amazing!<\/p>\n
