This program is pure Carlos. A piece that is so well-known that it is embedded in the minds of even the most casual concert goer (Schubert) along with a major English symphony (following our previous performances (and acclaimed recordings) of RVW’s 4th and 5th Symphonies, and an almost completely unknown (at least to me) work by Karl Hartmann (a now-forgotten German composer who did most of his composing between the two World Wars and into WWII.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
