I thought it might be of interest for those who might be tempted to think that we orchestral musicians only work about 20 hours a week. Yes, we might spend that amount of time on stage at the hall, but there is at least that much time being spent at home in the practice room working on music for upcoming concerts, both in and outside of the orchestra.
