Barry Johnson over at the always excellent Oregon Arts Watch<\/a>\u00a0[full disclosure: I am a financial contributor to the site]\u00a0has a thought-provoking piece<\/a> on the ‘journalism’ of arts organizations that produce their own web or print content. I was not aware of this development, which on the one hand I applaud, but on the other hand, as an employee of an arts organization, realize that when you’re employed by the organization you sometimes write about, it can have a decided effect upon the subjects you take on.
