fresh air

The Pansy Chang Quartet plays at a Riverdale home.

The smoke had cleared, the weather dried out, and it was once again time for a few of us to gather and play some chamber music with a small, distanced audience. It was a pleasure to enjoy the early autumn afternoon at the incredible garden of Susan and Andrew Franklin, playing Beethoven’s Op. 18 no. 3 and Dvorak’s F major ‘American’ quartets with friends Ron Blessinger, Fumino Ando, and Pansy Chang.

Coming up on Sunday, October 4th, husband and wife cello duo Trevor Fitzpatrick and Marilyn DeOliveira play a selection of duos, then Ann Medellin, Salena Walker, and Pansy Chang play Haydn trios. All in a lovely Irvington garden.
