Teaching
I am currently accepting new students to my teaching studio for 2010 onward. I have been teaching in my home studio, at the Max Aronoff Viola Institute, and through higher education community music departments since 1991. My former students have gone on to study a such institutions as the University of Oregon, St. Olaf College, the Cleveland Institute of Music, and the Juilliard School.
I teach one hour lessons, and weekly lessons are preferred for maximum retention and progress.
In addition to weekly private lessons, I am also available for coaching on specific repertoire and for college or professional orchestral audition preparation.
If you or your child is interested in lessons, I have some criteria for admission to my studio. They are as follows:
- The student must be in middle school or above (or home school equivalent).
- The student must be of intermediate level or above (no beginners, please).
- The student must be willing to commit to a minimum of 1 hour of practice per day on lesson materials.
- Adult students are welcome, but must have had several years of study at some point in their lives.
If you are interested in lessons, you may contact me via the link below. I hope to speak with you soon!
