As for the Andre Rieu musikabend i described, it would probably sell-out a multi-night run.

I have other ridiculous ideas that would shatter box office figures. Wanna hear ‘em? Bring me on as a consultant!!! Hint: one program would entail the Eroica trio changing their name to the Erotica trio. But wait, they already thusly market. Anyway, you probably get the general thrust of my programming ideas.

even funnier, more absurd and considerably less likely would be a change in format to programming ONLY works from the 20th and 21st century. I’m still working on a name for this fantasy band. i promise to have it ready by the 1st season’s downbeat!

don’t worry. one could always hire Andre Rieu to party down with a 21st century evening in Vienna. imagine some Strauss waltzes arranged by Sonic Youth, Radiohead, John Zorn and Bjork.
